The fluted body with protruding knobs around the shoulder, vertical rim and high looped strap handle with openwork triangle, the exterior decorated in white with bands of swastikas, zigzags and meander pattern

Villanova impasto pottery was produced during the Iron Age Period in Italy. Impasto clay was the forerunner of the Etruscan bucchero and has a highly burnished surface.
